French Unlocked is a neuroscience-based French coaching practice for adults who are serious about results. It exists for one reason, to give people the key that French gave me, the key to a larger life than the one they were handed.
Most people who come to me have tried before. They have used the apps, sat through the classes, memorised the verbs, and forgotten almost all of it. They arrive convinced the problem is them. It is not. The problem is the method. French Unlocked is built on how the brain actually retains a language, not on how language has traditionally been taught.

Founder & Lead Coach. I am a native French speaker, fluent in six languages, and Cornell-educated. Before I taught French, I spent 35 years in international luxury hospitality across Asia and Europe, rising from the floor to chief executive of a multi-property group. Along the way I held leadership roles with some of the most respected names in the industry, including COMO Hotels & Resorts at Uma Paro in the Kingdom of Bhutan and Six Senses at Ninh Van Bay in Vietnam. French was never only a language I spoke. It was the passport that opened those countries, those cultures, and the life I now lead.
When that chapter closed, I returned to the one thing I had always done well and rebuilt it into something better. I studied neuroscience to understand why so many capable adults fail to retain a language they are perfectly able to learn. What I found changed the way I teach. Over the past few years I have guided more than seventy-five students, from complete beginners speaking their first words to advanced professionals preparing for a new market or a new role. The method adapts to the level. The principle does not. I follow the student's pace, because their success is my success.
